The cover of Kobe house book, featuring the family crest of 5 fans.
This is the bridge that crosses the river to enter the Kuhara property. The signage welcomes the Czar's brother. The bridge still exists.

These photos are copies photographed from a book that he made in 1916 to commemorate the visit of the Czar's brother. Several copies exist with the daughters and at X? university in Kobe.

The Kobe property covers an area of 40,000 square meters or 40 hectors, which is equivalent to 100 acres. The estate was 4 times the size of Happoen in Tokyo. The house and property were destroyed during a big flood in 1938.

Amazing view of pond from one of the houses on the property
Interior of log cabin house. The floor is made up entirely of tree knots.
The pond and structures around it are similar to Happoen in some ways.
These are just some of the photos in the book. I will try adding the rest of the photos at a later time.
The Kobe house was where he lived with wife Ayukawa Kiyoko and their two sons and daughter. The property was later destroyed by a flood.
