Konoe served as 34th, 38th, and 39th Prime Minister of Japan. He made 2 major attempts to avoid war with the United States but ultimately failed, unable to stand up to General Tojo.
Kuhara was involved in restructuring the government and helped create the Taisei Yokusankai (Imperial Aid Association)
