This is the residence, Villa Niraku which Kuhara bought from Otani in 1916. It is not far from Kuhara's large estate in Kobe. It burnt down in a fire in 1932. It was built with a distinctly Indian influence, to honor Buddha and the land from which he came. Each room inside was done in the style of different countries.
